The DELAY-11 is an advanced delay effect unit.
The effect type button changes the delay rate for delay, chorus, and flanger effects.
The rate knob changes the delay time depending on the effect type selected.
The feedback knob controls the amount of output signal that is fed back into the delay input.
The mix knob blends the original signal with the delay output.
The control voltage amount knob applies the CV socket input to the rate.
Control voltage input for rate modulation.
Delay, chorus, flanger
50 ms to 1 second (delay)
15 ms to 50 ms (chorus)
0 ms to 15 ms (flanger)
The delay takes the incoming signal and stores it until the delay time is reached, where it then outputs the stored signal.
The DELAY-11 is three delay style effects in one. Delay creates an echo type effect which adds dimension to your sound. Chorus creates a doubling effect which thickens your sound. Flanging creates a whirling/whooshing type sound (think of the noise from a jet as it flies by).
Remember that when using the DELAY-11 as a chorus effect or a flanger, you must connect an LFO or other controller to modify the delay rate over time to hear the full effect.
The delay rate modulation is typically only available on flanger and chorus units, but on the DELAY-11, it can be used on the standard delay effect for exciting and very unpredictable results.
