The VCA-11 is an improved amplifier module compared to the VCA-01.

CONTROLS

INIT LEV

The initial level knob sets the initial level of the amplifier.

OVER DRIVE

The input overdrive amount knob boosts the initial level amount up to a factor of 4.

CV AMT

The control voltage amount knob applies the CV socket input to the amplitude.

SOCKETS

IN

Signal input.

CV

Control voltage input for amplitude modulation.

OUT

Amplifier output.

MORE INFORMATION

The initial level is typically set to zero (full counter clockwise knob position) and the amplitude is controlled by a CV signal which is typically an envelope generator.

If a signal goes beyond the threshold of the module, the signal will saturation with a nice smooth curve. Because of the saturation characteristics, there is an overdrive control to boost the input signal.

This amplifier will not produce aliased harmonics when clipping.
